Hey guys, I have been doing research on what car I want to get, and I was tossing up between a Subaru or a Mitsubishi Evolution, and I found myself going for the Evolution, I have 2 DSM's 1 awd 1 gst, and I am ready to step it up to the new age Mitsubishi turbo cars.

I was actually trying to find out the differences other then a few body style features, which year evo has the best features, I heard the 6spd transmissions are junk, and i have done work on a few evo's as far as clutches and turbo swaps not much more, Im a manager at a corporation mechanic shop so I can do anything and have all the tools. So pretty much other then price cuzz I would like to stay under 20k for the car and would like one not modified at all, which evo is a better platform to start with.

Sounds like your looking for an 8 and its going to be a challenge to find one that hasnt been modded.

Okay well that helps so I know what year to look for, but I am pretty patient and if I have to I will settle for a very lightly modified one but I don't want one that has any internal modifications, but wheels and an intake and stuff like that I know everyone probably does.
