Fluids for tranny, t-case, rear diff, and ACD
I'm using Redline MT-90 for the tranny but which shockproof should I use for the tranny? Lightweight or heavy? I'm only gonna be a bolt on car for a while. This is for a Shep trans btw.
How much fluid do I need for the t-case and rear diff? I believe it's about 1 qt isn't it?
And one more question...What fluid do I use in my ACD?
Thanks for all the help!

Don't use Shockproof in the transmission, or anywhere else in a street-car for that matter unless you're willing to do frequent changes. It was not designed as a street fluid to withstand the frequent/numerous heat cycling.
The transfer case takes under a half quart and the rear diff takes just under a quart. The exact quantities are in your owner's manual. The ACD uses an ATF fluid and doesn't require frequent changes like the rest of the drivetrain; look at the cap or in your owner's manual.

A lot of people run shockproof with great results. I just switched back to Shockproof Heavy a couple days ago because that overpriced Amsoil **** was loud as hell. I'm running 2 MT-90 and 1MTL in my trans. I won't run anything other than Redline again. I was blaming my clutch for a lot of noises that magically went away after I switched back to Redline.

Ok great! Thanks for the input guys.
And Kracka, my car will mainly be driven at most a few times a week now that I had a cheap daily driver. I plan on taking it easy on the car unless I go to the drag strip so would I be ok to use the shockproof? And I would assume I would use lightweight correct?
I appreciate all the info. I'm gonna be ordering all this stuff tomm.
