I've personally had:
3 Prosport Gauges: Oil Temp, Water Temp, Oil Pressure in their Peak Hold/Warning gauge and love them on my track car. Only complaint is that sometimes on start up they dont zero out and need to be reset to be accurate
1 HKS Boost Gauge: 46mm Mechanical Gauge I got for $20 from a friend and it works great, very accurate and would match the evo interior if I had it in there(had it in my 240)
2 Autometer Gauges: Boost and EGT gauge, never had any issues with them but don't look as good as some of the Prosport, Defi, and more expensive gauges
AEM Wideband: worked great on my daily and the sensor lasted for the two years I had on the car before I sold it.
Next I'll probably go with the AEM boost gauge and probably an AEM Wideband gauge in the evo.
There's my 2 cents.

Just go with what's easier to read for you during driving or pulls. I had proparts boost gauge(no prosports.) Proparts gauges, not many people uses them, got them from injected performance, they uses in their drag car and haltech WB. No problem and great customer service.

I have 4 Defi blue racer gauges, which are less expensive than some of the other models Defi has (no control unit needed). they are very accurate. I also have a Zeitronix wideband, which I was told by my tuner is a lot more accurate than the AEM wideband. Had a Stewart warner boost gauge that I returned because it was reading boost 5 psi lower than actual boost, after that I decided not to cheap out and invest in quality accurate gauges... plus they look awesome!

I've heard a lot of great things about Prosport Premium gauges... plus you can pick them all fairly cheap, under a 100 for each I think. I debated going to STRI but for the price of 2 gauges you can get yourself 3 Prosport Premiums!

Its all about what you want, but IMO Defi gauges (I gots BF Imperials) are the way to go for sure. I think they are worth the extra cash. Heres my set up, easy to control, nice record feature and they match up sweet to my trustz cluster overlays!
Good Luck

Hey DJ Brett B, are those 52 or 60mm gauges you got in the lower dim slot?
I am trying to fing a lower dim 60mm slanted gauge holder, but I have a feeling that you are going to tell me that they are 52mm.
If not, please tell me the brand of gauge holder
