Newbie = Rays G-Games 77 SOG 18x9.5 stock suspension, no rubs!
Hello everyone! As the title says I'm a newbie here but I've been reading on these forums for the past year but I never made a login - finally did a few days ago! As I was searching if 18x9.5 will fit the evo on here and got answers but none said really it can with stock suspension but it can! Also, since I'm not allowed to post on the threads for the new SOG's and people wonder what it looks like on a normal evo, not with wide fenders and all that. here's a peek at mine...
my setup: Rays G-Games 77 SOG 18x9.5 5x114.3 30+ offset
stock suspension
no spacers
tires 245/40R18 Continental Extreme Contact
no rubbing!
look below!
I know some people don't like it, but irl it actually looks pretty aggressive. Had numerous comments on them already from people!
update:
New megan racing track series coilovers!
the ride is now lowered 1.5 inches in front, 0.5 inches in the back for stance and passengers. Still no rubbing on fenders and no rolling of them. Now I just have to resolve the stupid coil binding issue
update: file upload is acting stupid. repost later ^^

ugg, i have more pics to put up but it's not letting me upload, i'll try again later if you guys are curious about the setup, wheels, and if you're out there wondering if 9.5 is too wide for your evo!

After a few months, i got lazy getting on the site and trying to figure out the pic system and finally got some pics up. Here's the car lowered with megan track series coils and new apr gt-200 wing sideplates.
in the works is and RRE stealth TBE with RRE hfc, upgraded intake piping, and tuned by RRE.
exterior-wise, next is APR/Rexpeed rear USDM diffuser and Seibon type CW cf hood.

instead of buying the rear diffuser.. you should just save up a lil more and get a jdm bumper!
dont getta cf hood.. most of em r actually heavier than the stock hood
wider tires would also look nice..
but i like the way the wheels like on the car! great choice!
