04 Evolution RS Headlamp

I have a 2004 Evolution RS. This means the headlamps are non HID's. The ones on the car have been opened and the inside was painted black but was not sealed properly to keep moisture out. Replace or fix?

Thanks

Can I use the headlamp assembly from the non-rs evo? Meaning the one which has the HID's?

You can use the Non-RS headlights but you will need an HID kit. You can also switch to the JDM headlights, but I believe they are currently on back order. By the way, there is a brand new set of IX RS headlghts for sale on ebay.

I checked e-bay last noght but I will check again, thanks. I do not really want to add HID's to this car.

Thanks

Why don't you just open them up, and reseal them? Caulk is cheaper than new headlights

I have not done that yet. I was tempted to do it on my STI but because of what I have seen I decided not to do that.

maybe I will do it, do you know what type of sealant to use?

Thanks,
