Evo 8 turbo upgrade: Stock IX turbo or TME 6.5???
I'm looking to upgrade the turbo on my 03 evo 8 but not sure if I should go with the stock IX turbo or the TME 6.5 evo 8 upgrade. Looked up the specs on both........anyone had any experience with both of these?

Also forgot to mention my current setup...

- 03 evo 8 stock turbo, stock fmic
- intake
- HKS ti full TBE
- HKS 272's
- Megan exhaust manifold
- stock ecu with a reflash (Ivey Tuned)
- last year made 311whp/317wtq on the dyno on ~24psi

Buy the 9 Turbo

I would add meth / water injection as well..... pick up some more ponies...

instead of straight meth, use washer solvent!!! would be a good addition to your mods

well that was easy!!!.....the IX turbo is actually cheaper

is there any downside to running meth injection?

I figured IX turbo on ~28psi + bigger fmic/uicp/licp + meth should put me close to 400 at the wheels

Also plan to get lighter 2-piece rotors and some enkei rpf1's to lighten up unsprung weight a bit...
