2003 lancer sand metalic
hey guys. I just got don whit my body modes.(body kit, rims, costum paint job and ....)

but I need more HP. I don't want to turbo my car and blow my motor. all i am looking for is about about 50 ot 70 more hp. right know all i have is a after market filter and a stupid muffler. can some body tell me what i can do. may be a MI-tec head, headers, down pipe, and CAI.

its kinda like almost impossible to gain 70hp without turbo.

mivec is not a "mod" that can be done to your motor its a whole different technology being used on the rallyart lancer. the rest are a good start, try adding a larger throttle body, cam and port your head. also a good cpu upgrade would give good benifits, fuel mods and higher compression pistons are also ways to gain NA power.

the only thing u can do if you want 50+ hp is do a 50+ shot of nitrous..that wont be fun tho. just go turbo.

If you build your motor to support a turbo, then it will not blow. It will definately be cheaper than buying a Mivec engine and tranny, especially when those are so new to the USDM market.

do basic bolt on then turbo and rebuild your motor to hold aton of boost pressure
