DSM Manifold on Evo

Will dsm manifolds bolt up on Evos? The reason I ask is I have a 1g manifold with a 35r on it. I was wanting to attempt to bolt it on the evo. If it won't work why not? I tried searching and couldn't find anything definitive. I know the turbos are backwards but on a t3 couldn't you just reverse the turbo? The flange looks symmetrical.

Yes it will bolt up but sometimes the flange will make the turbo sit to close to the power steering pump and it would be very hard to get a o2 housing on there. I am actually in the process of doing the same exact thing. I am going to try to make this SLS manifold work on my evo with some fab work.

Cool this is what I needed to know. I have an AMS manifold for the car that needs to be fixed but I was just wanting to use it for back up if the DSM one wouldn't work. I suppose I could try it out and see how it goes. Thanks again!

It's one a local guy made. I haven't tested it yet but I believe it is similar to the old style AMS manifold. I should know more friday when I pick it up, if you'd like I could update this thread with how it goes for me?

Hey, I have a bad *** light now! If the DSM manifold doesn't work it's not a big deal, I have an AMS one that will work fine. Now go do something with that colt.
Seriously though if you guys had video taped that I would be RICH. I could've ebayed that light by now
