Newbie from Memphis looking to let an Evo into my GM heart.
I have been putting together a twin turbo Trans Am for a little over a year now and am close to full completion, but now my tastes and goals have changed. I want a car that handles great, is pretty fast, has a big aftermaket parts following, and can serve as a suitable and fairly practical daily driver. After much research I have come to find that the Evo is best settled for my needs. I was originally looking at STi's, but they just don;t seem to be as quality built or as reliable as the Evos are. So here I am, nearing the completion of an 800+ rwhp street car and now looking to possibly sell it in the near future for a fun dd to replace my old Honda Accord. Luckily, I have spent quite a bit of time learnig all about turbos for the last year so that should hopefully give me a leg up over the average LS1tech.com junkie that may wander over to the dark side. It may soon be out with the old ( ) in with the new ( ) for me. I'll always love V8 muscle cars, but I'm ready to move on to different things for a bit.
