Front subframe

The evo 8 I'm about to pick up has a slightly damaged front subframe. I've been told it's repairable, but I don't know what it's going to cost. If it costs to much I'll just buy a used one.

My question is; for an 03 evo 8 what other models (if any) front subframe will bolt up?

Thanks

By subframe, do you mean the K-member that the steering rack, swaybar, and lower control arms bolt to? If so, check for frame damage too. That's a beefy piece, and if it has damage, make sure that the mounting points & bolts on the chassis are ok.

^+1 that doesnt just get damaged from a rock or something, it would take quite a beating to damage that

IMO find a different evo lol. Damage like that can impact a lot of other things like the frame (as previously stated by other posters). I know of several evo's for sale around here that are clean. PM me if you want.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I went and took a better look at the car and it's not bad at all. I had a few professional body guys take a look at it as well and they were confident in everything being 100% repairable.

Again thanks for the advice
