as the title states i am looking to buy an evo 8 in or around CT. I am hoping to spend under 17k and want to find something for next spring, but is there anything particular i should look out for when looking at a used evo 8? Grinds, clunks, problems, etc.? Thanks

in your signature you say the more mods the better, i think i would try and stay away from the heavy modified evos. there are lots of trouble ones out there that people are just trying to pass their problem on to you such as the tcase about to go out and the clutch worn out

 

thanks for your input evo8246, i do agree with you on that.. im not really looking for exteme motor mods and builds.. i just mean mods as in exhaust, coilovers, or maybe a turbo upgrade, etc.. mostly for bolt ons.. but i think ill take that out
