Best turbo for 2.3L

Was doing a little research and thought I'd see what turbos you guys are running on your built motors. I'm looking to get all I can outa it and wanting to get one over the winter seeing it will be the best time to do it.

I love my red on mine, the spool characteristics are just awesome. You could prolly go with a black but Im not sure the loss in spool is worth the little top end you'd get on a Stroker.

As a matter of fact..... He wants to get the most of the stroker setup. A red will not do that. Also, a stroker can have excellent top end. Many tuners have stated a T67 sized turbo on a stroker is an excellent match on the Evo and is a beast on the street. I speak from experience having had many different setups over the years. My favorite was a Shearer T67 BB kit, E85, 28 psi and all supporting mods making 670+whp. Spinning Nitto 555R's in 3rd gear at 80 mph was a blast.

All he can is open to interpurtation, as a matter of fact best turbo for a setup is based on what exactly the person is lookings for. That's way saying period is arrogant for an answer that is purely personal opinion.

Yea the guy I bought it from said I should buy a red but I was leaning toward a black over red.

I honestly love my red, when I was going over my build David said he didnt think the top end would net enough for what it lost down low and he knew I wanted a torque monster. I took his advice and couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the info... I had my old srt-4 with a 50 trim putting down 471whp but doesn't even compare to the evo even as it is now in my eyes. I know how hard the evo pulls now with stock turbo on E85 so ready to go big turbo.... then break stuff so I can spend more money lol.

Thats why I started this to see what everyone had and if they liked it or not. Being new to the evo changes everything since all the turbo setups for my old car don't work as well on the evo.

I dont have any personal experience with the T67 honestly, but to me the Red is exactly what I wanted outta the turbo. My main problem was his post lacked substance. Saying T67 Period is childish with no reasoning for why that turbo is the best in his opinion.

People state their opinion as fact and then say things like period or /endthread without any real reasoning which to me is of no help to the OP.

Really dude? The best turbo for a setup IS ones opinion. That makes me arrogant for having an opinion? This was his comment "thought I'd see what turbos you guys are running on your built motors." I can put a period after my post when that is the turbo I use only. Yes, that is my personal opinion. GTFO.
