The orbital kit relocates the HVAC controls and puts a double DIN up top. Removing the OEM gauges seems a small price to pay for a better in car ICE/GPS setup.

 

The odds are that the double-din setup offers lower sound quality and less tuning features than a well-chosen single-DIN unit allowing one to keep the gauges.

 

^ true bout the sunroof, looks like a 6 speed though judging by the mr knob. The Hood looks like seibon but I could be wrong. Check under the hood right below the latch there should be a badge somewhere.

btw its not a carbon fiber trunk, its only a carbon spoiler that was on there (already removed)

WRONG! MR SE's and SE's come with red stitching on the seats not regular MR's. Now, the fact that it has a sun roof is a lil fishy; either it is an after market sun roof or the original owner did a 6 speed swap on a gsr (which I doubt). I thought I read somewhere that the aluminum roof is too light to have a sun roof

 

It appears to be a pretty good find for the money if you like the mods over the stock configuration. Have a tech at the dealershipo put it on a rack and look through the access on the bottom of the tranny to get an idea of what clutch is in it. Given the mods listed I'd hope it has a decent clutch and tune.

 

his user name was phillytec on here so thats how i found out alot of the info, it seems as if he had Iveytune tune the car and another user install a clutch

ive tried to contact him with no success and also no success with the guy who installed the clutch

sent a pm to iveytune so hopefully he remembers the car (not too many monster hoods )

I saw this car for sale on Autotrader a couple months ago...surprised it's taking so long to sell.

 

put a magnet to you roof to see if its aluminum.

As far as the rear spoiler it could be rexpeed or an ebay knock off.

In terms of the car with the mileage and mods, it seems like a steal. If the carfax is clean and a mechanic gives you the "ok" it sounds like a great find. The only thing I find fishy is like the others mentioned the sunroof. Fat chance but, maybe he had the sunroof custom built with the aluminum roof.

Does a carfax/carproof list it as an MR?
