Talking the question everybody has probably asked...

Hey Everyone! The day has finally come for me...

well im definitely not the first but, this week is going to be the week for the new turbo setup, i keep going back and fourth from the FP Green, FP Red, Gt30r, gt35r, the gt turbos i found out that im going to need more parts to run so i think im going to rule those out. Im looking for around 400-500 hp more i the middle on STOCK MOTOR. i want quick spool and power in low rpm range and mid.. i dont like hitting 7000 rpms or really even 6. i try not to beat on my car. anyways would the FP red or green be suitable for a DD or can someone recommend the same kind of turbo for the same price or less.

Just an FYI, your going to get flammed pretty hard since searching will answer all of your questions, but...

You will need to give more details like, what fuel you will be running, what you mean by stock motor (i.e. just the block and internals or the head as well), what your desired boost levels will be, well, you get the idea.

I personally love the Red. Its a hard turbo to grow out of and offers lots of low and mid range. We have put a stock motor car in the 9's with one too.

All STOCK internals are in the engine, nothing will be touched or messed with in the engine, yet boost levels i dont know what i would need to reach the 400 - 500 area prob 24 psi? which is what i had my stock 8 turbo at (306 hp the the wheels, 298 tq) 93 octane will be used, unfortunately theres no E85 in nj , current mods are:
Injectors, i dont know what size the guy i bought it from told me 1000cc then i asked him again a week after i bought the car and he said... i dont know. so therefor i dont know.

The FP Red is a great choice as it will give you the power you want now and have room to grow for future mods as well.
