Looking to buy an EVO 9 - SE or MR model???

I'm looking to pick-up an EVO 9 and debating on getting a SE or MR model. Pro and Cons?

I hear the MR 6 speed tranny is bad. Anyone???

Let me know. Thanks

The six is weaker then the five. But IMO it depends on what your going to do with it. Big build? or basic bolt ons? or Middle of the Road?

^ this has been covered and debated and blown out of proportion more times than anyone can count on here. Your better off searching and developing your own opinion.

id say the 5 speed is much nicer.. betterg ear ratios, less shifitng in general imo... 6 speed is good if you do a lot of long distance drives, other than that id definately take the 5 speed

I prefer the 6 speed. You can make good power on the 6 speed, as long as you don't beat the **** out of it.

Middle of the road! Looking for something with to be daily driven around 450-500hp.

Se all the way. Better looking seats and has front lip, with better gear box. The only downside are the suspension, unless you get coil over.

people have told me that between 400-450 is cool, as long as you don't thrash your car. i have a MR and i'm in the same boat as you, i think 400-450 is cool. if you want a lot of power, just go SE, almost same thing, just only difference is the tranny, suspension, gauges, the little wickerbill on the spoiler, and badges. good luck!
