400-450 HP (Mustang Dyno, full weight) is a VERY fun street car. The power is there to be able to spin all four, good for easy, low 11's and an absolute blast on the streets.

(coming from a 100 pound girl's perspective)

Above 500 is getting to that AWD on ice theory. It will spin, it will pull.

Above 600... is pretty nutty. You need to have a lot of room to hit the gas full throttle or you're going to be in someone's rear bumper. They get in your way real quick. All four will break loose (even on drag radials) and on street tires (yes, 600+ HP on snow tires ) they are just spinning all over. It's quite awesome.

600+ HP is a serious handful.

If you have anger/rage issues... I wouldn't suggest anything over 400 hp. You'll kill yourself or someone else.

Finally bought the car and on the road....I've driven it to work a few times (100+ miles round trip) and it's fine. Just need a part of tune richened up at idle to stop the surging. Besides that its a beast, and could use some all season/snow tires. I thought I was gonna get bad mpg but its actually getting better than my 02 accord with a 2.3 with fresh amsoil synthetic, megnecor wires, iridium plugs etc....I've beat on the evo and still get better mileage than the honduhh

Here's some pics, for 4g63girl and other new yorkers this car might look familiar since I got it from there.

Thanks, I seen so many stock low mileage cars from $20-25k with like intake and exhaust done to it and this has an easy $20k into it, on top of the $30k it was only 30k miles ago. Might as well pay up once and save all the headaches and tons of $$$$ by buying one built and by buschur not just in a backyard. I could have done the work but rather save the time and money plus was done by someone that does it for a living.

I havent taken pics of it yet because of the snow we got, the pics are from the previous owner and in front of his house not mine.

I rode in Shawnas Evo at 380whp on the stock turbo and then when it was 30 miles old on the BR LR2.0 making close to 600wp... Holy crow. Ripping all 4 tires from a 40 roll on the street is intense. My Talon had alittle over 400whp on STM's dyno and that was perfect for DD'ing. It's just sometimes the parts you use dont like to be DD'd so there is a fine line of comfort/speed. Gorgeous car man. Congrats, soon enough I'll have one.

My car is currently at Evolution Dynamics getting a full build. Buschur 2L ams hta86 shep trans and tc and exedy twin disk, etc! the car is going to be set up with dual maps for 91 and E85. It is my DD and will be sitting around 500+whp on 91 and 600+ whp on E85.

i dont think a black with hks cams and meth will make 650 the blacks are not much more inpresive than the red im thinking 550 is more realistic number with your set up unless you plan on running straight e85 with 35psi maybe 600

Agree, you need to take the HKS cams and give them to a homeless person for a weapon. That is about all they are good for. I gained 150hp same boost and timing, direct swap, putting larger GSC cams in my car.

I think the Black on 40-42psi will make a butt load more than a Red at the same boost. The record on a Red is 631whp - I just made 748whp on the Black. Over 100whp difference is quite "impressive" if you ask me. Not to mention its only $100 more than the Red when you upgrade and spool is only 200-300rpms slower spool. Sounds like a no brainer to me!

Well in hopefully a month I can get to Ivey to get a part of the idle retuned and to see how much it's making with my own eyes. It's got a boost leak at the lower ic coupler so got to change that and going to make a leak tester so everything is air tight when I'm on the dyno.

As for the cams, I hear the same thing from other people too but I drive it everyday and drive OVER 100 miles a day so I would rather sacrifice top end power for a smoother idle, better reliability, better mpg, etc...

Congrats on the buy bud, ive heard about the car from your buddy Scott with the vette. Seems like a monster. Daily driving a 600hp car all depends on how you drive it, bring it to Sean he is the best.

600 whp car can be much fun on the street with the right setup. Im running 900whp and its just plain scary literally shifting lanes on the hwy at 80mph. 4 tires spinning when i brake boost. But i still love the adrenilene and wouldnt give it up at all.. so 600-700 to me is still very streetable and reliable car with the right build..
