Cheapest way to out perform EVO X/WRX STI
im just looking to out perform a stock EVO X/WRX STI, with my 2009 Lancer Ralliart. What are some recomendations to do it at the cheapest somebody can think of? I was thinking AMS STAGE 2 possibly? is there any better ideas?

It depends on what you mean by out performing. If you are talking about straight line speed then I would think with all of the bolt ons you would be pretty close. If you are talking around a track it would be more expensive as you would need suspension and handling mods as well.

im mainly just looking for like the occasional street race performance, so pretty much speed, and im not looking forward to getting an EVO 8/9, because i like the style of the 08+ Ralliarts/EVO X's

I dont know, But im sure a turbo back exhaust with a ungraded front mount and air filter/intake and a protune would do the trick.
also, possibly a new boost controller to help boost come on a little stronger/quicker and hold boost better.
but what happens when a evo x puts the same mods on?
or, yyou could just try Nos.

In that case bolt ons should put you where you want to be. Remember though, odds are that you are not going to run into either one of those cars stock especially if they are wanting to race.

i was thinking about doing the AMS stages, but idk if its worth it or not? i know they have bolt on parts included in some of their stages and they have ECU flashes by mail.
