I don't warm mine up in the summer however, I take it easy till it is warm. In the winter I let mine warm up to operating temps before driving it. Carbon buildup? 700hp should clear all that carbon out

In the winter, I warm it up for about 5 minutes and drive slowly for the first couple of miles (like I'm driving a Civic,)

Of course on that built like a tank BC 2.5L stroker. I've got the gas pedal down all the way before I even crank it so the rpms jump up as fast as possible. Nothing gets the oil moving like over 9000 rpms...

Late to happy hour, dinner, and pool league are unacceptable however

Yea I saw that which kinda prompted my first post, I kinda agree and don't agree with the article. I agree with some other guys on here about the tranny needing to be warmed up.

Depends on just how cold it is. I'll warm it up as best I can (based on my schedule and how late I am) and sometimes let it come to full temperature or at least 1/4 ways past the C. I'll then take it easy on my first 5 minutes of driving. Kind of like taxiing out an aircraft to get to the runway. Allows all my systems to come up and get warm.

if i have time i do...im not sure why...but sometimes the car is really hard to start...like early in the morning when its really cold out...i feel like its my cams...and sometimes if i drive right away the car doesnt like it and comes close to stalling...

I let mine run a minute or so at idle and then stay out of boost until oil temps reach 150F or so. That takes a couple miles in the summer but 4+ in the winter temps.
