water pump isn't needed until 120k, but your spark plugs, and drivetrain fluids should be in there at 60k. check the service manual for the list.

Does anyone has occured problem with the water pump ? I mean, on my past cars, when i was doing the 60k service, i was changing the water pump because if it fail at 75k you will have to do the timing belt job again.

So, anyone has their water pump failed before 120k with neir to stock evo's ???

to answer your question, nope. I didn't change mine until 120k and even then it didn't look like there was anything wrong with it. changing it at 60k is a waste of money IMO.

I don't have any statistics but I know some water pumps make it to 120K and some don't.
