Question What is the rough estimate?

I am wondering what the rough estimate on my HP and my WHP. If you do not mind please give me an idea. I have not gotten a tune as of yet because there is no trust worthy tuners close enough to my area to get a tune after each add on, so I am waiting until I get the bolt-ons done before a tune. My tuners of choice are Mellon tuning and AMS, but again they are not close enough by to go there all the time.

Here is a list of my mods.

GReddy Ti-C TBE (80mm catless)
AMS 3.5" FMIC
Injen intake w/ upper and lower IC piping
Walbro 255
Evo 9 BOV
MBC (running 20 psi)

What do you think my HP and WHP are at the moment?

Mods still to add injectors, ported and polished O2 and a 10.5 hotside. That is the plan for the moment anyway.
Thanks for any info or advice.

If you don't want to drive to AMS or Mellon, there's a shop you should check out called MKC Performance. They do a lot of Missouri evos there.

I was going to do Mellon over AMS because it seems like a lot of Evos have been stolen up in that area (Chicago) as compared to the area around Mellon.

I would obviously be staying at a hotel if taking a trip that long and I am used to having my Evo garaged. It worries me to have it out some place I am not used to at night.

If those guys are considered reliable I would gladly drive there as compared to Mellon or AMS. Thanks for the info I will check them out.

Yeah stock tune for now. Waiting to get some other parts on before I do the tune.

So 250 whp sounds sort of along the lines I was expecting, I just was wondering if it might be close to that or whatever.

What is the power lose to the wheels from the crank in an Evo anyway? Some co-workers were asking me but I was unsure.

The number of Evos in this town are slim. There is only one other 8 and possibly one 10. Sort of hard to get any information from any place but this forum.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it.

Actually I just checked I think I will still do Mellon it is around half the distance of the shop you recommended.

The distance is 173mi. vs. 349 mi. one way.

Either way I am in for a drive lol.

Thanks for recommending another option though, I really wish St. Louis had a place that did something like that.

I made 314whp on Buschur Racing's mustang dyno with your mods except I had HKS 272's and stock injectors.

It will be a while yet. I think I talked to you about it when I first got my Evo almost 3 years ago. As things go though (life, money) I have to do a little at a time. I will get down there though.

Still wanting o add the injectors (1000cc), fuel rail, ported and coated O2 housing, exhaust manifold, and a ported and coated 10.5 hot side. I think I will be getting all of that from Buschur, the ported and coated stuff will be for sure.

I cannot wait to get it all finished. I hope to hit in the area of 300 to 350 whp.

as I mentioned in the PM, I would skip the turbine upgrade and pick up a used EVO 9 turbo instead. I would also skip the coating unless you're just going for looks, no gains to be had there.
