Yes we do meets usually every month. check the midwest section out for all the events or anything related. Congrats on the car! The Evo requires a lot more maintenance than your typical car. Make sure to change the oil often (synthetic only!) and definitely get winter tires/wheels for next season. The oem tires are high performance summer tires, and the compound can start cracking if exposed to harsh weather/snow. Also, winter tires will give you far superior traction and will help you stop faster in the snow. Enjoy driving one of the best cars on the road

Have gotten 300ish on all highway. With combined i'm getting about 230-250. (Gotta remember that it's not just the bad MPG that makes the miles per tank so low, but the tank is rather small compared to other cars of it's size. So you won't go horrendously far on a tank, but when you fill it up you won't pay as much as other people)

when i fill up, the reader says 180 miles to the tank, freeway it says i average 19-22, street....like 12-16 mpg. but i have yet to pay attention to how many miles i actually drive before filling up, its hard to not press on the gas with an o2 dump downpipe

Congrats on the new X!! I have an SE myself and I couldn't be happier! It's pretty much all been said, this thing is gas hungry. You will be filling up your tank more often than not, but it is to be expected. But, just like any good woman, if you treat her right, she will treat you right in turn. ; ) Oh, and it won't be too long before the mod bug bites you. lol.

Check your oil, Change your oil regularly (3K miles) and use 5W30 SYNTHETIC oil. This may be the single thing that you, as the owner can do, that will make the greatest difference in the life and performance of your new car.
Oh, one other thing... ENJOY!!!
