Oil filter

factory is always good to use . they acutally have a check valve in filter most after market filters do not have the valve in filter . just use factory or make sure it has valve in filter .

In all honesty though, there are a lot of good choices, it just depends what's convenient for you. OEM Mitsu, Mobil 1, Bosch, K&N, Amsoil, & Purolator PureOne are all filters I'd feel comfortable running on my car. I've always run the OEM filters in my DSM's, IX, and X. In my wife's WRX I use the PureOne filter the majority of the time.
