Thumbs up Traded my 2011 STI for a 2011 Evo GSR..WOW

I traded my STI for the WW 2011 GSR, I have been lurking for a while . In fact I was in the market for an Evo like 3 months ago but couldn't locate the color and option(GSR) in my area, since I used to own an STI before traded in for a Z06 . I wanted to try the new STI. Although I was happy with the car, these ringland failures made me little nervous + I always wanted to try the new Evo. I am very happy with my purchase. Interestingly, this 100% stock Evo feels little faster than my Stage 1 Sti(Cobb Ap) maybe b/c of the heatsoak in FL. Oh well.

def a better choice...i wouldn't mind an STi for dd but Evos respond 1000 times better to aftermarket parts.

I love this car so much, actually STI is better for DD is a hype in my opinion.. because boxer engine and Unequal length header setup is makes a lot of vibration and noise even with the stock exhaust.. Evo's power delivery is also smoother than STI.. the only thing I've noticed was the little more noise on the highway since we're revving little bit more but it's not a big deal

I had never seen that color of an STi before, it looks really good (in my opinion). Nice upgrade to the Evo, the Evo and STi may be fairly close performance wise when stock, but once you start the modding, the Evo quickly comes out on top.

they actually used to have that back in 90s on GC body style , they brought it back in 2011 ..not a lot of STI owners know about that color-maybe it's b/c I'm too old. lol- I always missed that color ever since they stopped making it..it has little purple in it

Now that you mention it I believe I have seen a GC bodystyle Impresa in that color. Either way, nice choice!!
