Do it. While I've ridden in and driven a handful of Termys all from stock(ish) to KB'd, I can tell you the ONLY thing that is better is straight line acceleration and easier gains for cheaper. Other than that the car isn't even really comparable in terms of handling, braking, nimbleness, etc.

Anyone who tries telling you otherwise, simply has just never driven in an Evo. Plus you can make an Evo keep up and beat a heavily modded Termy aswell, all while retaining its handling abilities, and AWD, and not having to run drag radials...which kill your handling and practicality.

Best of luck.

Termi and Evos are the same in sense of power they make for little things you do to them. Termis can easily make 500 whp with a tune, intake, ported blower and exhaust. Through a kenny bell and you are up in the 600s. Same with evos, through an fp red or black and you are in the mid 450s, do e85 and then you are in 500s. Terminator is the only mustang I would ever own...As for handling, they are only ment to go straight.

the big difference is traction, imagine driving around on slicks that dont lean or sway when turning and hook every time. then imagine that your cobra lost 700 lbs and gained a legitimate suspension and brakes lol. cobra's are good from a roll, evo's (when properly modified) are good everywhere.
