Question about encounters with Lancers impersonating Evos
This isn't a shot at Lancer owners, first of all.
Do you guys notice that when encountering a Lancer that has parts that are obviously meant to imitate an Evo (particularly the rear wing but including other things like vented hoods, emblems, etc.), the car moves away somehow (i.e. speeds up, changes to a lane farther away but still goes in the same direction)?
After a 7am meeting, I saw a silver Lancer with an Evo wing that ended up being next to me (as my onramp merged with his lane), and the guy immediately moved over two lanes, sped up somewhat, but was still on the same freeway for the next 10 miles or so.
Just curious if you guys notice the same thing.

It reminds me of that Katt Williams routine where he was talking about Chrysler 300s and Rolls-Royce Phantoms...

i especially love the interfooler i've seen from time to time. noticed it on a lancer once, and the damn thing was hanging like 45* held on by a zip tie or something lol

My dad went to a recent local racing event with his GT-R and there was a guy there from Canada with a Ralliart Sportback trying to convince my dad it was an Evo. He kept telling him it was a super limited edition Evo hatchback and there were only like 1000 in existence or something

My cousin's half-brother (who I am not blood related to) apparently has a Lancer that he has been modding (though he's only 20 or 21), though thankfully he doesn't have any Evo-looking parts on it... I told him to quit while he's ahead and just save up for the real thing.

I got 2 where I live, a red lancer who thinks he is top **** and a silver one who hides each time he sees me, I swear he dodges me like his life depends on it. There is also a third one around here somewhere... Has carbon evo fenders, evo 8 wing, and a complete evo 8 turbo kit mounted up...

Jealous, and then I begin to question where I went wrong in life...
I don't mind getting bashed, simply because I don't care I know it's not an Evo nor do I have any interest in trying to make it look like one
