For $60 you're probably getting a really cheap filter. Other than that, it looks to be pretty complete. I'm curious though (if the picture is correct) as to how that is going to be installed in the car. Exactly where does each peice go because it doesn't look like it fits up like the AEM does. I'm curious though, because I was going to make one myself and it would have cost around $60 with a K&N, but this way I don't have to go through all the trouble of making it.

well you get what you pay for. but as long as the piping fits, who cares about the filter. you can buy another one of those. hell, give it a shot, i'm sure it will work.

i really don't think that all the name brand short air intakes are worth it,
ebay SRI looks fine. because keep in mind all the rrm intake is a carbon fiber stand, adaptor plate, and filter. its not worth over 100$+
but the cai i think is worth it, but not by much.
i think a ebay shorty with flex tubing for cold air is a way better price/performance ratio

If you get that intake, I would suggest putting on a few coats of engine temperature paint and bake it in the oven. One reason why this may be cheaper than the AEM is it is not painted. Looking at the parts this looks like it's going to be pretty close to the valve cover when installed. The heat from the engine will easily tranfer to the air in the pipe if it's not protected by paint, thus defeating the purpose of the CAI.
