Tranny or Clutch?help!!!

Past weekend i drove my evo 8 really hard!!!shifting at 8k RPMs and i noticed while shifting into 4th a really burnt smell so i assumed it was the pads so i stopped the car and smelled aroudn the wheels to see if it was the pads..but it wast...

A few mins ago i did an oil change and took it out for a spin smelt the same burnt smell again so i stopped and popped the hood..saw a little smoke comming out the Exhaust manifold area & around the turbo/wastegate area(No i didnt spill oil anywhere)...Also i noticed when in 1st gear n rev above 3-4k RPMs the car moves like the clutch wasnt disengaging properly(yes i was on a level road) also when i rev the car something vibrates a little...I dont know whats going on...Any advice or opinions???thanks

Did you adjust the clutch pedal after you installed the new clutch?

smell could be the clutch. check under the tranny "pee hole" to see the condition of the TOB and the snap ring, you could check the clutch fork
