buy the intake and install it yourself!! thats the fun of having a car, to work on it and install your own mods

Intake, Exhaust, and headers are a good start. Thats what I am doing.

appx intake cost is 200 for it shipped. there are various diff choices with diff prices. and yes install everything yourself. Unless it's your mechanics car and he lets you drive it. I think wheels are a good upgrade on the lancer too. at least tires cause the bf goodrich's blow. strut bar is cheap and easy like me

Would intake be a fairly easy install for someone with not alot of "under the hood" knowledge/experience? I'm picking my Lancer up tomorrow and don't want to screw anything up on a brand new car.
