New to car mods

Hey all, first I have to say how amazed I am after just sitting down and reading some of the threads on this site. You guys really know what you are talking about, which brings me to my next question. I'm getting a Lancer OZ Rally next friday and I was wondering what are some mods that a newbie like myself could do for starters without the risk of messing anything too major up? Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

Pep Boys has Xenon type bulbs. They are really bright and blue.

Rims, springs, exhaust, and intake are pretty much how everyone starts out. Very simple.

yea, I'll probably start with exhaust, since it seems like that won't void the warrenty. Once I get comfortable though I'll just forget the warrenty and start having fun.

If you've got 4k + lying about, get a turbo with all the goodies...actually...that's probably not even with all the goodies, like and AFC, appropriate additional gauges (EGT, Oil pressure and temp, boost gauge etc).

I'm new to the whole mod thing as well...gonna start small.

Approximately how much for new intake installed?

Also, would replacing the intake void my warranty?

since i dont' have a lancer, i know nothing about the warranty, but i have read in here that people get intakes and other parts straight through their dealer...
might want to give them a holler.
