Clutch going?
I recently bought my Evo this summer and have now rolled the 100k mark on it. It is still on the stock clutch from the factory and it has not been replaced yet.
My question is whether or not it is going out right now. I am used to a cable clutch which slips noticeably when it is going out. What are the signs with a hydraulic clutch? One thing that I have noticed frequently is that if I flip into neutral from 3k rpm or so it will stall for a while (sometimes 5sec) and then go down to idle. Is this a sign of the clutch going or is it something else?
Thanks.

Put the transmission in 3rd gear and proceed to slip the clutch as you would in 1st.. if the car stalls your clutch is good. If it the engine remains on than you have a slipping clutch.
