What did you pay for your evo..
Well like the title says. How much did you pay for your evo? Also how many miles on it when you bought it? Im new to the evo seen and was just wondering what other fellow evo enthusiasts paid for theirs? And sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Well I think this is going to hurt.
Aussies get a massive financial ar*e reaming when it comes to buying cars (buying most things really)
The new 2006 Evo 9 retailed, without road taxes, for $62000 Aussie dollars ($65306 US at current rates) when it came out.
I paid $26000 au ($27387 us) for my stock Evo 9 with 89000km on it (late 2011). I feel I got a bit of a bargin, most second hand Evo 9's go for between $30000 and $35000 aussie dollars here.
You guys (USA) get such a good bargain when it comes to parts too. Just bought a Litespec exhaust for $499, same price as you pay but I had to pay $350 just to get it here, and believe me, I looked for a cheaper postage price. Still better than buying something similar here though. Would prob cost $1200 to $1400 dollars, and the local retail industry wonders why it's going down the drain.
(oh yeah, our mortgage rates are around 6.8% too, lord save us!)

^ Hahahaha. I currently dont have a evo just wanting some figures of what others paid for. I am from Wisconsin and its hard to find a clean evo around here. They are all east or west coast or down south.

I did actually just find a '06 IX MR thats graphite gray thats about an hour and a half away from me for 22k obo. Its completely stock believe it or not. Only thing done to it was coilovers a few months ago but he didn't like the drop so he went back to OEM suspension. Any thoughts? Is it worth it? Offer 20k? HELPP me since I am a newbie to the evo world!

I'm in Denver, Colorado and it seems like it makes a lot of sense to spend more money and get a evo X. The 8's and 9's are still sitting around 18-26K, but that going to a dealer though.

6 miles, ~$32,500 for my SE including the factory gauge option.
If I may, when discussing pricing you have to compare apples to apples. Yes, a 05 Evo sounds like another 05 Evo on paper. Reality is a bit different. These cars range from the most abused, multi-owner drag-specific money pits pieced together in someone's garage, to perfectly maintained, unabused examples of the breed that are reliable to a fault. One is valued at about twice as much as the other.
