However if you get it, be sure to do a full fluid change including tranny , transfer case and rear lsd. Should be done once a year assuming 15K /year. Use the Mitsubishi fluids for safest bet.
PS never assume anything...these cars can get expensive in a hurry when in doubt get it checked out professionally

yeah the first thing im going to do is make an appt with a mitsu dealer and get all the fluids changed including engine oil coolant brakes everything....just so i have a piece of mind....timing belt i think i will wait till about 60000 i got about a year b4 that hits cause i only drive about 8k a year....the car has a brand new clutch so other then the fluids tune up and timing belt the car should last me untill the loan is paid then i will start to mod it...any advice on simple mods that i can make minimal power but still keep the car reliable and safe throughout the 5 year loan?

I paid 20k for my slightly modded 06 IX MR/SE and it had just about 60k miles on it, but it was the only one for sale within a 2 state radius around me, so I got a pretty good deal. They wanted 26k, but it had some issues that helped me talk them down to 20k
