My MR was listed right under that as well but i talked them down and got it for under list. That is one of the many great things about Evolutions, they seem to hold their value very well as long as they were taken care of and maintained.

Notchy when cold is pretty normal. If it is fine when warm, then it probably isnt anything to worry about. My MR has done that in cold weather since I got it 6 years ago.

However if you get it, be sure to do a full fluid change including tranny , transfer case and rear lsd. Should be done once a year assuming 15K /year. Use the Mitsubishi fluids for safest bet.

PS never assume anything...these cars can get expensive in a hurry when in doubt get it checked out professionally

yeah the first thing im going to do is make an appt with a mitsu dealer and get all the fluids changed including engine oil coolant brakes everything....just so i have a piece of mind....timing belt i think i will wait till about 60000 i got about a year b4 that hits cause i only drive about 8k a year....the car has a brand new clutch so other then the fluids tune up and timing belt the car should last me untill the loan is paid then i will start to mod it...any advice on simple mods that i can make minimal power but still keep the car reliable and safe throughout the 5 year loan?

I paid 20k for my slightly modded 06 IX MR/SE and it had just about 60k miles on it, but it was the only one for sale within a 2 state radius around me, so I got a pretty good deal. They wanted 26k, but it had some issues that helped me talk them down to 20k
