Soon to be Evo owner in CO, former WRX owner
Howdy,
I'm currently shopping for an Evo since I finally got rid of my POS 02 WRX. It certainly was a learning experience though, 4 turbos (all on 91 and E85), 4 intercoolers, 1 transmission, 3 sets of injectors, and 5 engines. O the money wasted... I shoulda switched to an evo years ago, but honestly, I didn't like any until the X came out! So, hoping to find some good buys on here.
Big thanks goes out to saytheb for giving me a ride in his built engine fp red equipped MR. Certainly helped me realize that there are Evo's that can put down some good power on the SST. And although he thinks the Red is laggy as hell, it's still better than my smaller (55lb/min) dom 3xtr with a 2.5 bottom end. Gotta love efficient engine design!

Wow sorry to hear your trouble. I also switched over I now have an Evo 9. It took a while to get use to it but I love it now. Seemed like I was always changing clutches on the Wrx. Evo much better power to money ratio lmao
