Trying to get into an Evo

Hey guys first post on here, the forum seems like a good community. Currently I'm driving an 06 Acura RSX Type S. I love the car and it is a ball to drive but I need something bigger and an Evo is calling my name.

I have an idea of what I am looking for. Probably an 04-06 with the se or ssl package. I hear the mr's have potential tranny issues.

what are you looking for? Info with differences in models? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...oking-evo.html

The mr 6 speed has proven to be the weaker of the two transmissions.

What's up buddy, another Honda owner here. I can tell you coming from both my SI's this car is way way way more exciting to drive. A better platform at that. I had a 99 SI built and boosted pushing 528hp and 378tq to the wheels. And even though it will destroy the evo on the interstate it can't mess with it driving around town. And the handling forget about it.
