The long *** 4G94 conrods provide nice torque but limit the revs due to their length and a single cam doesn't help that situation. Single cam can't cope with insane RPM's and deal with the intake/exhaust to well beyond a certain point. Compression is rather high on the block but as noted, it does like boost however, long rods and that high compression rate limit it a bit (nothing a lower compression gasket and pistons couldn't handle). It breathes rather well for an NA block and is pretty efficient, which is bad in the sense that it doesn't gain to much performance from the bolt ons. Can't raise the compression with a gasket to much because you'd bring the head to close to the block deck and you don't want that but there is always cam and timing changes to be made.

I have had my car for almost 2 months and i have had to fill it up only twice totaling $25 (not exactly empty). This is great, my first car, i put $10 dollars every 2-3 for the same amount of driving. That car was a beast...

do you drive downhill the whole way and take a tow rope back? damn, I put 10 bucks in the car every other day. Tank may last 3 full days, definetly not 4 though.

Granted i don't do to much driving other than going to work, it sure is a hell of a lot better than my old car! The fuel gauge didn't work so is was always filling it up. Wasn't worth fixing it but i owned it for two years and never ran out of gas. I just sold it tonight for $900.00 It was a good first car, oh the memories of burn outs and doughnuts

im sure you left that part out when you sold it... pimpson, you're not gonna give in to the 33mpg thing? your dealer must have added the "tornado" for you, then changed your 33 to 36

Not really, we were talking and i stated that it does really nice burn outs and he didn't seem to care. The car had a 300hp 350cid in it, it moved pretty nice The engine it the car was great, needed lots of other work though...

I'm only going to say one thing, the 4G94 is not in the same ballpark as the 4G63.. Not even the same sport. The 4G63 is one of the strongest engines to be produced.
Sorry if this is off topic, but I read the first couple posts and felt it necessary.

Just my $.02

i live in orange county and i picked my friend up in huntington beach and drove him to san diego and then back to his work, was 211 miles round trip on half a tank of gas doing 80mph the whole way

city driving on a full tank i roughly do around 260-300 miles
