^ This is NOT 100% true as Reconstructed/Rebuilt titled vehicles usually can ONLY be registered WITHOUT going thru salvage exam in the state the title is in:

Reconstructed/Rebuilt NY Title = Register it in NY with no problem

Reconstructed/Rebuilt PA Title = Register it in PA with no problem

Reconstructed/Rebuilt CT Title = Register it in CT with no problem

Reconstructed/Rebuilt NJ Title = Register it in NJ with no problem

I know NYS will not accept out of state rebuilt/reconstructed titles they will still make you go through NYS Salvage.....and as stated before you come across deals depending on the reason the car was salvage..... insurance companies tend to Total an Evo for the simplest things because everything costs so much to replace...
