I heard that an Evo X has a heavier body than the Evo IX...
I'm just not quite sure about the performance cause I know that both evos are awesome.
Others said that 4G63 is better than 4B11T

Well the 4G63 has a cast iron block, which can handle more boost.Don't know about the internal differences though.Maybe the guys with X's and IX's can chime in.We only have 20 Evo X's in the whole of SA.

Yeah, but I was thinking of using it as an 'everyday ride' too. I don't know much about the comfort & strengths in evos 8-9 since I'm a newbie. It's gonna be my 1st time to buy a sedan cause I'm used to SUVs

daily driver wise Evo 8's 9's are still better. they get MUCH better gas mileage then the EVOX's. Plus you can just buy the car in a SSL model and have leather recaros. Just doesnt have cruice control but you can steal it from a junk yard OZ rally or lancer Cruise light on a evo cluster is WEIRD looking lol. Its like this oval looking thing.

The only reason "in my opinion" to buy an evo x is financing. If you dont have a local credit union or bank that can aprove you your limited to new cars. Just search around most banks and credit unions will finance a car 10 years old most of them its more like 7 years so keep that in mind. Also you can buy EVO X's brand new from mitsubishi for 24k now-a-days since there struggling and an evo IX thats clean low mileage will cost you 20k to 21k easiliy. Evo 8's are dirt cheap I bought one for 9k which was mint, my EVO 8 SSL was 13k with 60k
