what kind and what brand of oil you guys recommand for the first oil change @ 1000 miles?

1000 miles? newer cars dont need the early chnage like older cars do. if you broke her in nicely just change at 3000 miles. as far as oil goes, use what your manual says. doesnt matter on brand, just remember when you go to buy the oil and you're trying to save money by buying the cheaper brand... you get what you pay for.
