New Member & New Evo Owner
Well, after years of browsing the site I've finally made an account. I bought a 2014 Evo x GSR (Apex Silver) last week, so I figured it was time to break the ice and make a post.
I've always loved Evolutions and whenever I searched for something related to them, I inevitably would stumble across a thread from this forum. Seems like a really solid community and always respected all the knowledgeable users on here. (Lots of entertainment value from the the random arguments as well). Anyway, you guys certainly helped answer a ton of questions I already had when trying to decided if I should make the leap and get an Evo.
In an effort to keep this relatively short, here's some random info about myself:
So basically this is my first evo, first turbo, and although I have some basic knowledge of cars, I won't pretend to be an expert. I'm just gonna keep reading all the interesting info/posts here and hopefully get to know some chill people. Cya around!

- I live in Westchester County, NY (Already getting hit by snow/ice) :/
- Work as a civil engineer (plans/designs/reports for construction projects)
- Previous cars I've had - 1997 Integra GSR, 2002 Sentra SE-R Spec V.
- Been playing guitar as a hobby since I was about 11 years old.
- Been a gamer (Ps4/PC currently) since forever.
- I have a cat named MeowMeow.
So basically this is my first evo, first turbo, and although I have some basic knowledge of cars, I won't pretend to be an expert. I'm just gonna keep reading all the interesting info/posts here and hopefully get to know some chill people. Cya around!

Hi and welcome!
Just in time for the snow! The Evo's are a blast to drive in winter just keep out of the snow deep enough to plow with the front fender. As you know 4 wheels off the ground will require help. Have fun!

Thanks for the welcome lol. I went to college at Northeastern in Boston and got the cat with my roommates up there. We gave it a ton of random names but eventually that was the one that stuck. After we all graduated I ended up taking her back to NY with me.
