HEy everyone my names Anthony. Just joined the forum today and looking into getting an evo hopefully by mid February. Currently driving a 2013 fiat abarth and will be building that into a spec race car for the challenge club racing series in a few months but I thought I'd look up more info on the X and IX and figure out everything about them. Looking for one that I can basically triple the power almost and use anywhere yet be safe enough for a daily driver. Either getting an 05 or 08. Any thoughts? Thanks

Ha welcome!
I had an Abarth before my Evo. I loved that little monster the stock exhaust sounds amazing but the interior trim was driving me insane and I ended up trading it in. Welcome

Welcome! GL! I guess the major question would be how much out-of-the-box car do you anticipate keeping? Transmission and motor in particular. An RS model will go a long way if you want an almost blank canvas. It might be a beast of a daily driver though.
What are your build goals? A track monster, or a straight line racer?

Well first thanks for the welcome and I love my abarth. Yea the interior isn't all that great but the looks, sound, and ride make up for it my plan is to make a 600+whp. Something I can take to the circuits, autocross, rallycross, road rallies, a few trips to the strip, and a DD. Basically an all around performer lol but I may put that on hold because I'm looking to buy a house sometime before may hopefully and start my abarth build but wanted to get as much info on the evo X
