New from Ontario (Canada)
Hey my names Joel and I just purchased a 2008 Evo X MR in January. Have had my eye on these cars since 2008 when i first took one for a test drive. It was a blue 08 MR Loved it. The Evo i have just bought is white. I traded my old car, 2007 Cobalt SS Supercharged in for this one. I needed a car for all seasons, instead of have 2. Just fits

I bought mine used with 54000 kms on it.
Its a great car so far just finding a lot of little things so far but i'm a bit picky when it comes to cars. I had a humming noise now i have a clunk i guess since its quite now i can hear the clunks and rattles with the music down of course.
The humming noise was the tires. I guess nitrogen is a big no no anymore they were cupped all the way around and wore on the inside front I rotated them but it just go worse.
I put some cheap tires on and its quite so now i can hear a clunk at low speed around 10-40 km/h I shook the car every possible way
then tightened up the upper strut nut it went away then came back again. So tonight when it was quite around 10:30pm I shook the car again and finally duplicated the sound if i push in on the top the tire it makes a clunk noise looks like upper strut mount bearing (pillow ball) on the driver side. makes sense i guess but at 67000???
anyways i figure this should be in a different section but whatever.
08 mr evo x is a awesome year feels like i'm drivn a 14
