It's funny a few years ago I would not have thought anyone would be thinking of getting an Evo for as mid-life crisis. But I have had a few people say that same thing to me and I am only 32 and enjoying every drive I take in my Evo.

You guys are kids. I'm 57 and have put 11000 miles on mine. Down pipe, cat back, AEM short ram, RMR intercooler pipes, ground loop, JVC stereo, Clutchmasters stage III clutch, one of a kind reciever for my bike rack, Evolution VIII badge and Evo 7 tail lights. Buschur MBC set at 20 psi and Super AFC with Buschur numbers. I love this car and it loves me back. My grandkids think it looks mean but my mom thinks it is smiling.

Well, I have a lightning yellow EVO with 7000 miles and the Buschur Stage 2 treatment. By the way, I am 56. It feels pretty good to have a mid 12 car that gets good mileage, is a four door and turns heads everywhere you go.

I get looks, staris, and everything almost every day I take my car somewhere. In fact I went to an SCCA event this past Sunday and there were several corvets, Sti's, M3's, Mustangs, And 911's but everyone was taking pictures and hovering around the 3 Evo's that were there.

Hey, that was me taking most of the pictures... One of those 3 evo's inspired me to get one, got it yesterday!!!!!!! What color was yours? I was there with the one of WRX guys (best friend), but was really torn between the two, especially as one guy in an evo kept keeping the corvettes honest!

He is on this board (Airborne). Owns tarmac black.
He is 60.
My dad is 50 and loves to drive my car.
His biggest thrill is watching the jaws of the ricers drop as he rolls by. Priceless...

Congratulations on the new ride. And 41 is not old. If it is I'm there with you (41 in two months 8 days) Since you're in Miami why don't you drop by the TEMEVO meet on Saturday and you'll get to meet a lot of other EVO owners. You'd be surprised at the types of people that drive EVOs.
If interested members.aol.com/temevo
And again, congratulations on the new car.
