Some Updates

Some more updates on the EVO.

Finally got around to installing my Whiteline RCA Kit, as well as my whiteline ALK/Caster kit. Here is a list of parts I have added

1) Whiteline RCA Installed
2) Whiteline ALK/Caster Adj
3) TC Designs 4 Point Rollbar (Pending Feb 21)
4) Voltex Widebody Rear Fenders
5) Enkei RPF1 with 285/30/18 BFG R1
6) Swift Springs 10k 12k on KW V3's (temporary until I figure out which direction I want to go with coilovers)- i realize that these rates are not heavy enough for the tires and setup. Will be switching my setup shortly
7)Maasimo Power Race Rear Differential (Pending March 14)
8) AMS Front Crossmember (Pending March 14)
9) AMS Moustache Bar Delete (Pending March 14)
10) Raybestos ST47 Track Pads w/ rebuilt calipers at all 4 corners: SS Pistons, girodisc dust boot seals and rebuild kit Girodisc 2 piece rotors FR.

11) Custom alignment and corner balance

Also did some more weight reduction with the car:
1) Deleted Rear Wiper motor and blade
2) AMS Xmember and AMS Moustache delete bar
3) Delete windshield fluid reservoir

The car weighed in at 3170 lbs without driver (pre rollbar) .

A few months back installing oil cooler/rebuilding brakes:

25 row oil cooler:

The shop that is installing and working on this POS: Trackspec Autosports in Fremont, CA

Whiteline ALK/RCA/Swift Springs

Voltex fenders test fitting and adjustments- Alignment to make sure fitment is on point for the bigger tires/wheels. Had very minor issues but they were solved fairly easily.

Car is now awaiting a color match as well as reinstallation of fenders.

Will update the thread when the rest is completed!

Great build man, I have an Evo 8 and this truly has inspired me!

Have are the exact specs on your RPF1s? I have been trying to get a pair myself. I see that you have 285/30/18 for tires, did you have any fitment issues? my Evo is a daily driver.

Thanks for any input!

Jose

I also started a build thread addressing all the issues and everything that I've had in the build. i will update that one and just leave this thread alone.
