G'day guys and girls,
I'm new to the forum and relatively new to Evo ownership. I'm here to learn as I go.
I do a fair bit of the work on my car myself. Hang around with a couple of other Evo, RX7 and R34 owners here in Brisbane, Australia.
So far the car is fairly stock, imported into Aus in 2013. Has a HKS RS intake kit (soon to be removed for a full airbox setup), Turbosmart internal wastegate actuator, and some audio bits removed.
Mods to come after the major service is COP kit, new wheels and good tyres, coilovers, airbox, exhaust, ecu re-flash, more boost .
Everyday that it gets driven it gets a hammering over the mountains.
Anywho, that's my intro...
Enjoy the pics!

nice work mate, very quirky and a great colour too.
my advice would be to do some research on here before you start modding, theres a modding regrets thread and some great DIY stickies too. Have a plan on what your HP goals are and what you want to use it for.

Correct, it's just a title. Underpinnings are the same as the 6 with the most noticeable differences being a faster steering rack and a titanium compressor wheel for faster spool. It's also 10mm lower in stock trim. The only thing you can see to tell the difference is the red seats and different front bumper (no fog lights and an asymmetrical design).
Tommi's aren't that rare really, you still see a lot of them around. The big meet I went to last month had another one there, and in the same colour!
Cheers all for the comments, hopefully as the build progresses I can post up a few pics as well.
