New owner of a 2014 Evo X
Just got a new to me 2014 Evo X. Traded in my 2014 Mustang GT. Wanted a change in cars after 3 years of the 14 GT and 7 years of Mustangs and figured an Evo was a decent step in the other direction and figured I'd give em a try. Car is different in a lot of ways and fun to drive. I did like my GT and it was and still is a great car and I will probably have a Mustang again at some point in time again.

Wow that's a big call trading a GT in, in Australia you'd probably get 70k for that stang and maybe 45k for the Evo but I know it's different over at da states

Ford has closed up shop here in Aus, no more local built fords, they made a pretty mean thing called an xr6 turbo, 4 litre cast iron block, easy get 500 HP out if it, they are now importing mustangs in its place, and the first shipment has sold out and I think there's a year waiting list for the next lol I saw a new red one on Sunday when I was out in my Evo It was like wow a new stang, that looks amazing, see we Aussies eat shyte sandwich from the states and think we are very fortunate

Yea I looked at the 2015s and liked the rims but wanted the leather recaros and the RF system. As far as I can tell it's completely stock but I plan on doing a few mods. Intake, boost activated cutout, and maybe an axleback. I don't want the car overly loud unless I'm WOT but I'll figure something out. Cosmetically I'll probably tint the windows, and maybe some new rims and lowering springs.

I saw the ETS Quiet and I'm leaning towards that over an axleback now after seeing the prices. But that's all in the future for now. First mods will gauges and a pod in prep for power mods. Is the dual pillar pod worth it? Only drawback I see with it is the carbon fiber pattern. Also, hood struts so don't need a prop rod only drawback I've see with those the only reasonable priced set is carbon fiber patterned.

If you're gonna go with a gauge pod, I would suggest just getting a triple. So if you want another gauge you already have an extra spot. Most people run boost, AFR Wideband, and oil pressure. Those are the most common, some opt for oil temp instead, but I find that pressure is better so you can see when you're leaking/pump failure.
