"Wingless" Evo Trunk Lid
I would like to make my Evo "wingless" so I'm looking for a clean (no holes) trunk lid. Does anyone know what trunk lids fit the Evo and where to find them? I read that certain Lancer trunk lids will work, but need to know the specifics. Thanks!

Well, my plan is to keep the "winged" trunk lid for quick installation on track days... and use the "wingless" de-badged trunk lid for everyday use. So, a Lancer RS trunk lid will fit. Are there any other versions of Lancer trunk lids that will also fit? (and might be easier to find)

I thought all lancer trunk lids will fit. That and the front door skin are the only 2 body pieces that are compatable.
I don't know about a quick swap for track days. There is the trunk latch cable and assembly and some wire harness. Unless you plan to keep it wingless most of the time, it's not worth the effort to swap lids. Maybe just remove the wing and have plugs color matched to cover the holes.

Sleeper Trunk
Well,
I got my trunk replaced as I wanted that Sleeper look. I got the Evo trunk without the holes for $250 from . The paint job was $150 and I swapped it out myself. I used the lock and other stuff to swap it out. The lock was a little tricky but I did it under 15 minutes.
http://www.mitsubishiparts.com has the trunk lid for $268. (W/O rr spoiler)
I also got the UK Evolution badge and it looks great! After I put the Evo VII light on it, I was done!
I still have the trunk and large wing for when I want to put it back on.

Thanks solarexclipse! That's exactly the info I needed... great pics too. Is there a specific model year (or years) of Lancer trunk lid(s) that fit the Evo? I noticed that some (don't know what model year) Lancers have the license plate on the trunk lid. This info would be helpful so I can call wrecking yards and be specific about the exact trunk lid that I want.
Thanks again!
