First manual is an EVO yikes clutches have enough problems as is.....
Anyway for normal driving you want to shift between 3000-3500 rpm (right before the turbo kicks in for good gas milage)
I usually downshift around 2000-2500 rpm
for aggressive driving shift around 5500-6500 when accelerating etc downshift around 3500-4000 depends on how hard you want to be running it and how quick you need it to be.

Huh? downshift? If you are going 60 miles per hour in 5th and you are coming up in some traffic that is going 40-50....i usually downshfit into 4th by rev matching and if need be i downshift into 3rd if i go below 35/40. The only time i downshift from a gear to neutral is if im approaching a light that just turned red.
personal pref on going through the gears. Its uncalled for if you know the light is going to be long. If i know the ligh tis going to change and im in 4th and slowing down, ill drop it into third and gas it when the light turns.
