Sorry dude, I'm not trying to insult you... The Evo is such an able car in so many ways that your original post seemed a little bit shallow and ignorant. If you read my post (which you did), there's nothing insulting in it at all. What I meant to explain was that you may be right for yourself trading the car in for something that does EXACTLY what you as a driver want it to do. Not only that, but I explained where your issues came from (Turbo spool and boost taper) and that they're easily dealt with... Sorry again if you were offended.

im going to have to disagree with you here. I can drive my evo as slow as a granny and not have it bog. I think he just has a crappy car or is letting the clutch out to soon, causing a bog...maybe its something else..

With the A/C on, my car DEFINITELY bogs taking off from a stop.
With the A/C off, it is no different than any other manual transmission car I have driven.
