I paid the body shop my dealer works with 250 for paint and a little fg repair on a chipped corner from shipping. looks completely stock, although mine is white. since the car is so new, color blend isnt really all that necessary, assuming the shop is good at color matching. the discerning eye may be able to tell, but your everyday average joe wont. plus mistu paint straight from the factory looks like different colors on the metal vs. the plastic pieces anyways. 300 to paint and install sounds totally reasonable, imo.
and the location of the button is not important whatsoever. the button is wired into the transmitter, so technically, you could extend the button wiring 40ft from the car and it would still work as long as the fob is within range of the receiver. that shop is trying to get over on you and i would stay away from them at all costs cause theyre probably effing you in every other way possible too.
where in IL are you anyway? just wondering if i could give you a local referral to a decent shop if you needed it, plus you could see the quality of mine in person before you trust them with your paint work...

couldnt bear to drill into this beautiful piece, so,as promised, here's where i relocated the trunk button to:
stalk me if u like, i suppose. though im probably the only white ralliart in illinois with my setup, so im not gonna be that hard to miss if you're in the western burbs. either way, took about an hour, including removing all the crap from the trunk so i could cut the wiring from the original connector and extend it from the trunk through the grommet in the back and re-solder the connector on where it currently sits. well worth the effort, imo.

Nice alternative for those that like the non-keyhole look, yet want to retain the FAST key functionality.
Trunk looks great on the RA also!
